The Name Game
How did I get the name for my domain? That is a very good question. Well, for as
long as I can remember I have always been fascinated with fairies and pixies. It
all started when I watched Peter Pan for the first time. Tinker Bell was my
favorite character in the movie. To this day, I'm still fascinated with the
magical little creatures. When I first bought a computer, I decided to use AOL
for my internet provider, and it is still is, so when I chose a screen name it
seemed very natural for mine to have something to do with my love of fairies and
pixies. I decided to go with Pixiedust7979, which is still my screen name, so
when I decided to buy a domain, I wanted something similar to my screen name. I
wanted to go with Pixiedust.com, but of course it was taken, as was
pixiedust.net and pixiedust.org., so I had to choose something else. I
brainstormed on a name for about a week, and I came up with pixievisions.com,
and it was available, so I registered it, got a host, and that as they say is
that.
